Prospective Students are invited to an Information Session detailing John Carroll's newly launched Substance Use Disorder Counseling Program. The certificate program is designed for individuals seeking licensure as a chemical dependency counselor.

Individuals holding a bachelor’s degree may attain licensure as a licensed chemical dependency counselor II or III; individuals with a master’s degree in a behavioral science may attain licensure as a licensed independent chemical dependency counselor.

The certificate program in Substance Use Disorders Counseling is a five-course, fifteen-semester-hour program. Students can take the classes for credit or for non-credit/continuing education. Taking the program for credit will give you the most flexibility in pursuing a future degree if desired.

Join us to hear more about the program and which option might be best for you.
